LOT: 1) Unused Russian Empire postal card with notes on the back. 2) Russian Revolution period, Kerensky Government; Uprated postal card with locally applied overprint postmarked PETROGRAD 12.11.18 (St. Petersburg), machine backstamped RIGA 15.11.1918. 3) Uprated postal card, also postmarked PETROGRAD 12.11.18 also with locally applied overprint PLUS inverted overprint on 15 kopeck pair, also backstamped RIGA 15.11.1918. The latter two postal cards were sent to the same receiver in Riga, Herrn. Georg H. Jaeger, a prominent stamp dealer based in Latvia. All with wear, mostly confined to the corners, else nice.
