RUSSIA/CRETE. Cover from The Russian Empire sphere of administration on Crete postmarked RETHYMNON, with additional postage applied, sent via Russian Post Offices in The Turkish Empire at Constantinople and then on to Moscow, backstamped, MOCKBA 18 VIII 1899. Fascinating cover. The odd wrinkle here and there, light staining at back, else pleasing condition with generally crisp postmarks.

PRYDVASE. Art nouveau, ca. 1895-1900. Bernhard Bloch, Eichwald, Bøhmen. Stempl. i godset på undersiden, samt mod.nr. 3747. Overglasur med oker og grønne nyanser. Slank kalebassform med snodde hanker og kvinnehode. Fin stand, med krakelering. H=32 cm.
