RED CROSS. 1917 Prisoner-of-War response cards. All from an officer Eduard Nowak; like 90% of prisoners taken by the Russians during the First World War, he was probably in the Austro-Hungarian army, these 'Cartes Postales' were sent between 31.3.1917 and 19.10.1917 to Vienna, all bear triangular Austrian censor cancels, most have Russian box-or circular-cancels. Some wear and tear but generally in good condition. (14 in total)
